One thing that is absolutely true and inarguable is that: cats are family. Our cats are everything to us, and we treat them like they are a part of the family, because they are a part of our family. We talk to our cats as if they understand us. We spoil our cats more than we spoil ourselves sometimes. We buy out cats cool toys and trees and delicious food, and we don't spare a single thought for that. We do it for them because we would do it to any family member that we loved. 

And even though some people might tell us that we go a little overboard sometimes, they still seem to understand where we are coming from with our behavior. We thought that was universal to everyone, but apparently, we were wrong. Apparently, some people don't get it at all.

    Listen, we are not all about leaving your workplace over petty business. The job market is hard right now. But this… yeah, we would consider quitting our job over something like this too. Because if our boss is so evil about something so big, then what would they be like about something smaller but that is still significant to us?

    Truly, we have never seen someone be so, so insensitive about the passing of a pet before - any pet, not just cats. Humans do tend to have some semblance of humanity in them. This is really just- unbelievable to us.
